I love Owls......

It's offical, I do! This is a print I've been working on and I really like it's sketchy look. I love It's like they all have different personalities! This particular image is for my agent. He must be sick of seeing owls by now :) There will be no posts next week as I'm away on holiday so I'm frantically trying to get everything done before I go. There are just not enough hours in the day. Have a great weekend everyone.

Papaya

Hello, I recieved these gorgeous Thank you postcards off my friend Rose for Christmas ( I know and I've only just got round to posting it now). I used them the other night and was reminded of how lovely they are. They even come in a lovely tin!  It's a bit different from sending a card. Babies!

Oh what a wonderful morning today has been. I found out this morning that my gorgeous friends Tim and Carla had a baby boy this morning Called Will so this post is dedicated to them.  Mother and baby are both well and I am so thrilled for them. We've been waiting for baby Will to arrive for some time now so I am glad he finally decided to make an appearance.  It's made my day. Now, I have to get into Christmas mode again and design some christmas cards...........where's my christmas music!

Good news!

For those of you who followe me on twitter will know that I sold one of my designs internationally yesterday. I'm yet to get the details from my agent ie which customer has bought it but I know they are based in America (wow!) but I'm very happy and hopefully it's the start of something great. Thinking positive really helps. Here's an image inspired by some lovely flowers my other half got me. I thought it would make a great little note card. Have a great weekend everyone!

Glass faceted Tealight holders

I love these glass tealight holders! I have to have them for my wedding! They are from Plumo and I've been keeping my eye on them hoping they go down in price as obviously They are a little on the pricey side and I need quite alot of them. They go perfectly with the theme. Until they go down in price I will admire them from afar.........................

It's Friday

Yipeee it's Friday. I hope you all have lots of exciting things planned. I'm imagining most of you will be celebrating valentines day this weekend so you can drink and be merry and not on a school night!  I'm still designing away for my agent. Mainly valentines as the cards out at the moment are so inspiring I've got lots of ideas and they'll be perfect for next year. I particularly like very simple looking cards. To me they are most effective. The one I designed below is the type of look I go for. I bought mine but it was so hard to choose. There's so much talent out there. I'll post it on Monday for you all to see. Anyway have a great weekend all :)

........and so below is a little owl card design I've been working on for my agent.  Although I design cards I still like to go out and buy cards one of my favorate things to do is going greeting card shopping. I will spend hours looking for the right card and I love going out and getting inspiration so My boyfriends card will be bought and I can't wait to get it. You've got to show your support for other designers sometimes :)

Oven Gloves

Hello! Today I want to sho off my new oven gloves. My mum bought them for me (but I picked them) They're by Ulster textiles and I just love the owl print. I like the sketchy look it has.

Hi guys, I thought It was about time I posted my calendar on here before february is over. Obviously it's a love theme for the love month! I hope you all had a great weekend. I went to Reet Sweet this weekend which is a craft is Leeds.  It's held in the gorgeous corn exchange in Leeds. I was so impressed with the standard of crafts and I just couldn't help but treat myself and I bought my sister a couple of things for her birthday. I would post them but I know she checks my blog so I don't want to ruin her surprise! One stall that caught my eye was Jil made this . Her crafts were really cute and unusual. I bought a little button brooch off her. So cute! Decorating my office

I've been surfing the net recentley trying to find lovely things to make my office purfect. I few things I've stumbled upon are this gorgeous shelf unit by Rocket st george  (oh my it's right up my street). I also love the owl bookend by Strawberry fool  and I've been in love with these owl doorstops for quite some time now. You can find them at Not on the high street I can't decide which one I like better! Obviously this is just a TINY selection of things I need (want) but I don't want to bore you all. Hi guys, so we are in February already! Where is the time going? February is known a the month of love. With Valentines day fast approaching us I thought I'd post a little bit of love to you all. I've been working on all kinds of prints for my agent and with love in the air I thought I'd work on some Valentines themes. It maybe a bit late for this year but they might sell next year. Keep your fingers crossed for me :)
